Frequently Asked Questions

Question:
What services do you offer?
I
offer state-of-the-art professional Electrolysis, the gentle way
to permanent hair removal.
Question: What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis
is the most reliable option available today that has been proven
to remove hair permanently.
Question: What is the process?
A
hair-thin metal probe is slid into a hair follicle. Proper insertion
does not puncture the skin.
Electricity is delivered to the follicle through the probe, which
causes localized damage to the areas that generate hairs.
Question:
What are the advantages?
By far the best and longest track record of results. Over 125
years of clinically proven safety and effectiveness.
Question:
Does it hurt and how painful is it?
No,
the sensation that you feel is the chemical action taking place
in the hair follicle down at the root of the hair to permenantly
destroy the hair so that it never grows back.
Question: How does it work?
The
process which is electroylsis, removes superfluous hair permanently
by the means of electrolytic action by galvanic current. A probe
is inserted into the hair (you do not feel the the probe needle
going in) the electrical current is then applied at the papilla,
the hair root. This chemical decomposition that takes place is
the water and salt content in our bodies when galvanic current
is applied creates sodium hydroxide and that hair follicle is
destroyed.
Question: How long does it take to remove the hair at the bikini
line or underarms?
If
you've been waxing or shaving recently you'd let them grow in
so that we can see what stage of hair growth that they're in at
the time of your appointment. For the most economical process
we remove hair in
the early anagen state ( the active growing hair) galvanic current
applied to the hair follicle to permantently destroy the papilla.
Not all hairs are in the anagen stage of growth, so with patience
and dedicated weekly visits you'll get the results by seeing clearing
right away. We do offer clearing packages.
Question: What does it cost?
It costs less then waxing or laser these proccesses are not permanent
and can be very painful, expensive and cause skin conditions such
as hyper and hypo-pigmantation. Laser has also been know to later
have ecessive hair growth and even cause cancer.
